Dirty dirty south.
Its 2:16 in the morning. In about 45 mins I head over to pick up my brother Josh. We soon begin our journey to land of seafood and Jazz, even the great city of N'awlens (New Orleans)... We are going to exhibit in one of the food industry's biggest conventions - The IFT 08 Show. While our days should be hectic, our nights will be filled with scrumptious muffalettas and smooth Jazz. Our Hotel is only blocks from The French Quarter and Bourbon Street, where all the good stuff goes down. I hope all goes well for us and this journey proves beneficial for our company. Only time will tell.

The Best Cheetos Ever!

The Mexican ladies at work brought some 'Flamin' Hot Cheetos w/ Limon' today. These were some of my favorite munchies in Mexico. I went and bought a bag of 'em at Wal-Mart after work... There is now cheeto residue on the white keys of my macbook, haha.
If you haven't tried these, and you don't mind a pretty good sting in your throat, i recommend you get some today!

Its official...
Xylobyte is the real deal! We got business cards, freshly painted offices, a 5,000 sq/ft warehouse, airlines tickets to New Jersey for our first trade show, and 70 Tons of Xylitol on the way from China! Luke, Nate, and myself are flying out to New Jersey next Monday to set up our booth at Supply Side East, a big gathering of ingredient suppliers. We learned that our hotel is like three miles from Manhattan, so we figure we'll cross the river for an evening or two out on the town. Luke and I are going to hold hands in Central Park.
Anywhoo, we're pretty heavily invested in this whole shabang - I sure hope things work out:)

Due to the recent popularity of the Gundy Blog, it seems only necessary to make a new post.... the wishes of my readership will be sufficed.
So what am I to blog about? Well, I suppose I could give yall a little run down of my life as of late:
-Work has been pretty demanding lately. My brothers (who comprise 97.3% of Gundy Blog readers) and I have been working away at a new project. We have started a new business called Xylobyte, which basically handles the US marketing for an China-based, leading manufacturer of Xylitol. Haven't heard of Xylitol? -don't feel left out, most American are oblivious to its existence. It is, however, quite popular in Europe and Asia, where it used as sugar substitute in most gums, toothpastes, mints, and mouthwashes. The US tends to be about 2 yrs behind the European trend, so were are expecting it to hit BIG here in the home of the brave. Just recently, large gum companies in the US have implemented a small amount of Xylitol into their recipes, sometimes just enough to be able to advertise that it 'contains Xylitol'. Trident, Orbit, Ice Breakers, and Stride are some big names that contain Xylitol. To check out more on the SWEET, corn-derived, crystalline goodness, click here.
-NHL Playoffs have begun, perhaps the most intense playoffs of any professional sport. Games consist of hard hitting, big beards, broken noses, knocked-out teeth, and mullets sported my players and fans alike (yes, mullets need to be mentioned in each of my posts). My roommate, Chris, even felt compelled to go 'business in front, party in back'..... his mom cried while she was forced to cut his hair into a mullet. As for me, I'm content with my beard.
-The other day I was called into the gynecology office in American Fork to interpret. My routine job is in the urology department, so I was pretty accustomed to having awkward moments with patients. Luckily, things went smooth and I avoided anything too awkward - it wasn't the first time I had handled ovarian cysts.
-I bought some Stephon Marbury, basketball shoes the other day. They are my first pair of real basketball shoes and they are quite flashy. Typically, shoes of this caliber will run you over an upwards of 100 bucks.... these ones were only 13 smackaroonies! I guess little Stephon couldn't afford good basketball shoes when he was young, so now he wants to make it possible for all kids to have good shoes at a good price. Thank you, Stephon.
Well, we got a big game tonight for the Utah Jazz. In order to be prepared, I must go pick up some beverages and possibly a Papa Murpheys 'take and bake' pizza... mmm!

Globe Trotters - Not as cool as you think they are.
I thought I'd take a minute to point out a common misconception that I believe most americans have: The Globe Trotters are the shiz. I bare personal testimony that, in fact, they are lame. A few friends and I went to see them at the Energy Solutions Arena last night. And though we enjoyed ourselves, I discredit the Trotters role in providing entertainment. We resorted to doing what most do in an public-sports ambient... point out sweet mullets and lame Newsie-style hats.
The best part of the night was an acrobatic performance by several Rastafarian men. And of course a tejano burrito from Alberto's made for an ever-so-succulent resolution to our night on the town.

Unemployment rate an ultimate low...

Funny Videos
It seems even the dark side has been left without employment... We need a democrat in office to clear this problem up! (haha...please.)
